Thumbprint Cookies (Gf, V)


  • 2 cups superfine almond flour or almond meal
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • About 2 t vanilla extract
  • Jam

Baking directions

350 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes

Special tools

  • Baking sheet
  • Silicone mat or parchment paper
  • Spoon


  1. Prepare a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper
  2. Mix almond flour and salt to a medium bowl.
  3. Add maple syrup and oil to almond flour.
  4. Add vanilla extract until it becomes a dough.
  5. Roll dough into about 1 tablespoon balls.
  6. Press balls down with your thumb or a spoon so there is an area to put jam in.
  7. Spoon jam into the area you created by pressing down on the cookie.

Bake for 10 – 15 minutes at 350 degrees

  1. I love ❤️ Panda Baker!! I made these cookies and used some raspberry jam my daughter and I had made, they disappeared so fast!! I love thumbprint cookies and this recipe is definitely going into my favorites file!! Thank you Panda!! You Rock!!
